Unique Builders performed unlicensed plumbing work on a rental property I own with my 82 year old father causing it to fail inspection. They took it advantage of my elderly father, who signed the original contract with Unique. I had to use my own licensed plumber to perform the repairs to pass inspection. I filed a complaint with the Texas State Board of Plumbing Inspectors. Unique Builders was found guilty and issued a cease and desist order to stop performing unlicensed plumbing work. I have repeatedly asked for a refund for the unlicensed work they did and they refuse to refund my money.

Unique Builders created a gorgeous new primary bath and we just can't say enough about our positive experience. Ronen came to our house, spent A LOT of time with us, asking about wants and thoughts on design. Then we went to the showroom, a one stop shop for flooring, cabinets, etc. Ronen was prepared with a design and budget. The design was nothing like what we talked about! But Ronen has a great eye, and we couldn't be more pleased going with his design. The presentation was professional, including blueprints. We were able to pick materials right there with both Ronan and Ana's help. We then received computer generated images, bringing everything to life.

We contracted with Unique to remodel our entire downstairs (except for our master bath and closet), with Ronen as our project manager. We completely gutted the kitchen and living area, and removed several walls which required several steel beams to be installed. Two new fireplaces, new hardwood flooring throughout, as well all new cabinetry. We lived upstairs during the renovation, and while I will admit that was tough, Unique did all they could to make it as easy on us as possible. We had a few hiccups along the way - an unexpected leak from an upstairs shower, and slow permitting from the city of SL - but Ronen was always available to answer our questions or calm me down when I was stressed. The project took a little longer than expected, but we are very pleased with the results and love our new kitchen and living room.
We had our kitchen redone and are very pleased with the outcome. Ronen was our primary contact and his advice, patience and hand holding in planning and following the work was exceptional. The work was completed ahead of schedule and on budget. The workmen were friendly, accommodating and very skilled. The quartz installed on the countertops with a waterfall is a piece of art in terms of how the patterns match with one another from the tops to the sides. I contacted Unique Builders and Remodeling to rebuild some areas of my home that were contaminated with mold. The mold had already been remediated. Unique Builders and Remodeling promptly got me on the schedule for an inspection and quote. Andrew came out, and spent a ton of time with me understanding out issue, and discussing how he would go about fixing everything, making plenty of suggestions along the way. Andrew was kind, thorough, and explained everything to me in detail. He also sent me a quote for everything we had discussed, staying in touch with me via text to make sure I had received it. Done with our secondary bathroom and so excited with how it came out. Eric was easy to deal with and was on top of anything that came up. We wanted to change the wall color after they started painting and Eric came in and made the switch on the spot and went to pick up the paint we wanted. Since no one was home they where able to work on there own schedule and got the bathroom completed it a lot quicker then expected.

She wanted to talk to insurance first but he tried to pressure her and had some snarky remarks so bad my mom just got up and left (he did apologize after she walked out though). Anyway, we didn’t sign and it seems like we dodged a bullet.

Worst builders ever. Did not come through with anything promised. Did not care for our property at all. When texted about damage they did was told “it was old and rusted”. Would have been nice to at least tell us of the damage they did. Was told put wood down as not to damage yard. I was so hopeful at first but big let down.

Had them out to give me a quote on a patio cover. They wanted $2,000 for the design of an aluminum patio cover. There was no mention of this when I scheduled the free quote. I was given a ballpark price from the sales guy and said he would call me the next day to discuss. This was on 5/14 and I never heard back. I'm assuming it's because I didn't give him the 2K. Before he left we discussed payment opinions and I let him know I will be paying cash. He said I should consider financing because "Even my rich customers finance". This seems like a great sales strategy.
We scheduled a 4:30pm quote appointment, but it was accidentally scheduled for 5:30pm instead. Then 5:30 came rolling around and nobody showed up.

Just finished a major remodeling of our home with Unique Builders. Very pleased and I would highly recommend them. Ronen (Project Manager) and his team were great to work with, from design through completion of construction. Demolition and construction was quick as well. I was expecting to be out of the house at least twelve weeks and we were able to move back in after eight weeks. Eddie, the site manager, was great as well. Very high quality of work and very responsive to concerns raised along the way. Costs were as contracted with no haggling along the way. I expect they may not be the lowest bidder you can find but I believe you get what you pay for and I’m very pleased we went with Unique Builders.

When we had to call Unique back out for warranty work on this project and there were zero issues. Darryl responded within 24 hours of notice and Unique was out to complete the repairs within 2 weeks. Darryl was an absolute joy to work with and embodies customer service.
Project number 2 for the bathroom build-back and remodel was completed with Ronen and material selection with Ana at the design center. At the time that we started working with Ronen the bathroom was partially demolished due to a water leak. Since the portions of the walls, shower, and vanity were affected by the water leak we planned to do a little bit of a bathroom update. In meeting with Ronen, we discussed how to use the space more effectively to make the space feel like a true Primary bathroom. The initial design we discussed in our meeting did not work out with the bathroom dimensions so Ronen took a shot at presenting a new design with our specific needs in mind. Ronen took our ideas and transformed them into a work of art. The design he shared with us exceeded our expectations.

I recently worked with Andrew Koy on a redesign and build of our kitchen and it was a great experience. Andrew is incredible professional. From the first visit, he served as an advisor and helped me better understand what we needed to expand and make our small kitchen space more useful. He is super responsive and as soon as we were ready to start the job he was ready to get started. He managed the crew impeccably. The team was always on time and working every day from 8 - 5 (even arriving 15min early on most days). The crew is trustworthy and respectful and were always eager to hear my thoughts around the progress. They cleaned up the space and the working station every day which made it a lot easier to live in a "construction zone". Andrew and the team are meticulous and care about every detail of the work. They worked really fast and we were able to have a functioning kitchen within a week and a fully remodeled kitchen in 2 weeks. After 35+ years, it was time for a complete kitchen remodel. Unique Builders were referred to us by a family member who used them for their kitchen remodel. We like Jakob from the first meeting. He was professional, knowledgeable and guided us through the process. The entire team from Ana, the designer, to Eddie, construction manager, were professional, very helpful, and always courteous. The workmanship and materials are top-notch. The job was finished in 3 weeks and we are thrilled with our new kitchen.
Darryl was a pleasure to work with on the large scale remodel we did to our home. They paid great attention to detail from the demolition phase, thru framing and finishing. Great communication, keeping us informed with status updates throughout the project, which was completed ahead of schedule and turned out better than what my wife and I had envisioned. This is our second remodel project with Unique. I can't recommend these guys enough. Their design team created a beautiful plan and their construction team (Alex) and GC (Scott) were amazing in executing the plan. What I love most is not everything went as planned but any issues and concerns were addressed and corrected. The carpet in our son's room was stained. The plastic tore and construction dust and feet stained it. Scott had it cleaned and it didn't come up so they had it replaced. No arguments from them.
They are not the cheapest, but they justify their price with their work.

We reached out to Unique Builders for an attic conversion project we had in mind. Ronen came out to the house to see what we could get with our home layout and provide some ideas on what we could do with the space. The team was great to work with, was accommodating with changes on the fly as we got into the project, and tried to minimize the impact of construction on the rest of the house. We are very happy with our finished project and the space we have that was once just unfinished attic space.
We have hired Unique Builders and Development to remodel our kitchen and laundry with Ronen Kinhofer as the project manager. This is actually the second time we have them. Last year they did our garage renovation and we were very pleased so we decided to go with them again. Once again we were not disappointed. We had first a couple of iteration of kitchen design on paper. Then once the construction started, all went smooth and quickly. The project was delivered on time and as per budget. Ronen was always available and open to our last minute changes. Also even with the project officially finished, Ronen continued to support us for a couple of after care issue to make sure we were happy and all was perfect.

As opposed to having a salesperson make initial contact, we liked the fact that the person who comes out to make the first contact to discuss the vision and provide a quote/estimate is also the Project Manager. This protocol ensures excellent continuity, communication, and accountability from beginning to end. We recently used Unique Builders and Development to design, extend and remodel our kitchen, modify floor elevations in our dining & living room and replacing all first story flooring. After dealing with a leaky shower for a few years, I finally have the bathroom of my dreams! My husband and I decided to go with Unique Builders for a complete bathroom overhaul after talking to four different companies and we are so glad we did! We highly recommend Scott Reach, who was our project manager. He was very professional, communicative, punctual and went out of his way to ensure we were satisfied from start to finish. His tiler, Chuy, is very experienced and has great attention to detail. This project was to take space from our 3 car garage and create a covered patio area in the backyard that never existed before. We had busted pipes from the February freeze, a large amount of damage needed to be repaired/replaced. The entire team at Unique did a fantastic job with both bathrooms, master bedroom, custom closets and flooring. The crew also made sure we were happy with the work and went above and beyond. To make a very long story short, this company provided home repairs following the 2021 February freeze. We had the floors and a couple of walls and ceilings replaced due to water damage. The contractor refused to start the work until the entirety of the scope of work was approved through insurance causing us to live out of our home under construction with a new born who was born days before the contractor finally started work in late April. The estimate they provided was not at all the work they performed. Our contractor said the line items not performed were added in lieu of an additional estimate for work we asked to get done outside of our insurance claim and as an upgrade to what insurance was covering (carpet to wood floors). I believe this is called insurance fraud. I asked for the estimate to be corrected to show what was actually performed with an additional estimate for what we asked to be done in addition, but never received this. They originally said they would perform mold testing to determine if additional walls needed replacement, but this never occurred to our knowledge. Even the mold we visually found was not removed properly nor according to how the estimate said it was handled. The contractor only walked our home twice and we were left to supervise the work of the sub contractors and coordinate issues. We even pointed out items left unfinished or performed poorly, but nothing was done to resolve this. While we continued to fight with insurance for payment of all the work they unnecessarily added on, Unique threatened to send us to collections. If we weren’t in the process of buying and selling our home, I would have risked collections and sent them to court. Utterly disappointed in the level of unprofessionalism from this company.
Overall this was a good experience. We are happy with how the bathroom turned out. Ronen helped us select the design and coordinate the project. There were a few hiccups towards the end, but the project was completed to satisfaction.
I really wanted to use this company to do our remodel but after visiting my house the contractor, Matt, wouldn't reply to my wife. really frustrating because he did text back twice but took a week to reply and then said he sent a quote to my email (he didn't) and when I asked him to check the email address he again ghosted us.
I would say he seemed knowledgeable and professional but im actually super upset with the lack of communication. If he didn't want to do our house that's okay we just wish we weren't waiting on him considering wee are moving in a hotel right now waisting time.

The job required a complete rebuild of the kitchen, removing posts, walls and installing new posts and beam. Ronen spent a considerable amount of time working with my wife and I on the design of the kitchen, providing us various options to maximize the space, the kind of materials we could use and recommendations on the appliances. The project lasted about nine weeks which was attributable to us changing the scope of the work to include other areas of the house which Unique had no problem including into the project. They ensured every detail was covered. When an issue came up, Ronen was there to resolve it quickly. The result was a beautiful better functioning kitchen with an open concept. We would highly recommend Unique Builders and Ronen as your project manager.
UNPROFESSIONAL! Awful service! Their employee, Ronan, was crazy and tried to force us to sign a contract on their first visit and won’t leave respectfully! He us feel very uncomfortable. When we told him we were going to hire him he threw a fit like a 5 year old. He said that whoever we hire will mess it up and we’ll have to call him to fix it. That is definitely not the case. Extremely happy we did not hire them. STAY AWAY!

Just getting a bid from this company was one of the worst experiences I have had. Scott asked the same question repeatedly and acted as if I couldn't make a decision on my own. When I tried to speed up the conversation he refused to continue the bid and left without a word. Highly unprofessional.

Unique Did an excellent job. Management kept in touch and the crew was experienced and did an excellent job.
